Question by Binibini: I’ve never been to Hawaii , Can you recommend which part of Hawaii should I go first?

I’m planning of surprising my husband for a trip to hawaii, and have a 3-5 days vacation there.

Could you recommend a good place to stay and where in Hawaii should we go.

I don’t want to go to a crowded place. I would like a place where it is quiet but lots of activities to do.

Also when you find a hotel you want to stay at, go to

My boyfriend n i have been mataining a long distance relationship for awhile, i really want to plan a trip to Hawaii to get away from everything. i dont want to go alone so i invited my cousin n his girlfriend. We are trying to see where we can go to find some good deals on d tickets n hotels..any suggestions?

I found Expedia.com was cheaper then most other sites.

Call a travel agent, but I am sure it will be more.

Hawaii Trip 2009 – 131

Junko and Anthony tagged along with me on a business trip to Hawaii for the 2009 PACOM Information Assurance Conference of the Pacific. While I did not have much of an opportunity to enjoy Hawaii, Junko and Anthony had a blast.

Overall it was a good trip and a refreshing impromptu vacation for the family.

I’m trying to plan a trip and I need to know how much to bring with me. Totaled with airfare, food, drink, hotel, activities and etc.?
I’m looking for a wide variety. I want to know what the average person wanting to have a great time would spend in Hawaii for a week?

A family of 4, parents and two 8 year olds, staying for 7 nights? What are some good saving tips if you have any? Where should we go? Is it better to cruise or fly?
From Sacramento or San Fansico if cheaper.

I’d give the children each a certain amount they can spend on anything really, but nothing they need like food, so that way u can keep up with how much you spend easier.

Question by Sarah: Will my cell phone plan be valid on my trip to Hawaii?

I am going on vacation in a little less than a week to Hawaii, and I would like to know if my cell phone plan will be valid in Hawaii. I have Verizon. Do their regular family plans include Hawaii or just the 48 Continental states? I would like to be able to use my phone in case of emergencies and not have to worry about additional charges. Thanks!

Verizon’s plans are nationwide and Hawaii is part of that nation.

Question by zebrafinchlover: Taking a trip to Hawaii for the first time?

it will be my husband , myself and our 8 month old baby. what island should we go to? we are much more interested in the beauty of hawaii instead of shopping, but want to be close enough to run to the grocery store if the baby needs anything. does anyone know about driving laws with car seats in hawaii? is it like stateside, do i really have to lug the carseat where ever we go? i suppose we should jsut rent a car. any ideas?

I would go to Maui. Its the best island. Mostly at any hotel or the airport you can rent a car. You can also rent a car seat, i would get one just in case. I don’t think you should rent car. There is really nothing to see in Hawaii other than the buety. Every hotel will have taxi drivers. They wouldnt mind with the car seat. Good Luck!

2.Which Islands do you want to visit

4.What type of accomadations are you looking for ie;(directly on the beach (Waikiki), in town (Downtown Honolulu/Waikiki), hotel, condo…etc….)
5.Do you plan on visiting MORE than 1 Island…if so how many and which ones
6.What activities are you interested in…
